Meskerem Melesse
Meskerem Melesse is a seasoned banking professional with over 18 years of experience in strategic leadership. She holds an MA in Human Resource Management and two bachelor's degrees in Economics and Psychology from Addis Ababa University, along with a Management Consultant certificate from the Ethiopian Management Institute. Currently, she is the Director of Company Secretary and Executive Assistant to the CEO at Goh Betoch Bank, where she ensures compliance with corporate governance, attends Board meetings, and supports the Board of Directors.
Meskerem began her career at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), advancing through various capacities to Manager of Business Analysis. In this role, she played a key part in aligning the bank's digitalization roadmap with its corporate strategy. She also worked in the Office of Strategic Management, focusing on long-term planning and performance evaluation, which helped align daily operations with strategic goals. She later leveraged these experiences at Goh Betoch Bank, making a vital contribution to developing its first five-year strategy and ten-year roadmap.
