Meron Derbie Mamo is a seasoned banking professional with over 20 years of experience in Ethiopia’s financial sector. She currently serves as Branch Manager of Dashen Bank’s African Union Branch, where she leads fund mobilization, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence.

Since beginning her leadership journey in July 2011 as a Customer Service Manager, she has advanced through key roles including Accountant and Branch Manager, consistently exceeding performance targets and earning multiple awards for high performance and leadership.

Meron holds an MBA from Rift Valley University and a BA in Accounting from Unity University College. She has also completed extensive professional training in corporate governance, financial management, and transformational leadership, both locally and internationally.

Looking ahead, she aspires to take on senior executive leadership roles, championing financial inclusion, governance, and the empowerment of women leaders in Ethiopia’s financial sector.
