About the Program
FSD Ethiopia, in collaboration with IFC, successfully conducted three rounds of a comprehensive Corporate Governance Training designed for female professionals aspiring to become board members. The program equipped participants with the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to lead with integrity, transparency, and accountability in board-level roles.

The training focused on strengthening leadership skills while embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Participants learned how to guide organizations toward responsible and sustainable practices, preparing them to serve as effective and ethical leaders on boards. With the growing demand for gender diversity and inclusion in leadership, the initiative helped empower women to take up governance positions where their expertise and perspectives are vital for sustainable development, innovation, and advancing ESG frameworks.
